Insert the DVD.

Follow the add-on manufacturer's installation instructions.

Then the installation of the Boris FX main program (Continuum / Sapphire / Mocha Pro) is carried out. Your Boris FX add-on is usually a product component or a component of a Boris FX main program.
To be able to activate this product component of the main program, mark the 'Activate your license now' (requires Internet connection). Alternatively, you can carry out the activation on another PC or activate your product component offline with an activation file. (You can also immediately upload an RLM license file or perform an installation without activation.)

Then select whether you want to keep non-activated product components on your system or whether you want to delete them.

Once the installation is complete, the software will search for updates for your add-on. If no updates are displayed, your software is up-to-date.
After installation is complete, open the add-on. You can now decide whether you want to activate it directly or start the demo version.
To activate the add-on, click on 'Authorize'.
Fill the customer information form out and enter the serial number for the add-on you want to activate into the window. You will find this number either on the insert card (box version) or in the email you received following purchase (download version/offers). Now click again on 'Authorize'.
Verify the information you've entered.

How do I install my activation key license?

If you have already installed Boris Continuum, to license it:

On either Mac or Windows, you can access licensing information from within the Boris Continuum filters by clicking on the “License” button which is found at the top of every BCC filter.

Simply apply any Boris Continuum filter to a source clip in the host timeline, then go to the effects control panel, and follow these steps:

If you are licensing the product from within Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro:

If you are licensing the product from within Avid Media Composer:

If you are licensing the product from within supported OFX hosts such as Resolve, Nuke, Vegas etc.:

If you are licensing the product from within Apple FCP-X or Apple Motion:

The action of clicking the “License” button will launch the Boris FX License Tool. This mini-app will present you with a series of click-and-continue windows to guide you through the process of licensing the product. The rst window that appears will prompt you to select the activation method.

If you already have your purchased license code and your system has an active / on-line connection to the internet, then select the rst option as per the image below, then click the Continue button to proceed to the next window:

The next window which appears provides you with a window into which you can paste the license code that was sent to you when you purchased the product. To avoid the potential for any error when entering the license code, we suggest that you simply copy and paste using the standard system shortcuts (control / command + C and P), then click the Continue button to proceed to the final step:

The next window that you see is a con rmation that the license has been added, accepted and activated. Click the Done button to complete the license activation process.
